General Information For Review When considering Bumper Boats
Service Dept.
Bumper Boats have been gaining popularity in recent years at an astounding rate. Many operators of fun parks, family entertainment centers and miniature golf facilities are finding themselves contemplating adding the bumper boat attraction. They are finding it necessary to gain customer base, stay competitive and round out their park's appeal.

Certainly when making an investment of adding an attraction, one should evaluate if the potential return outweighs the risk. It seems only logical that if Bumper Boats have been around for a long time, and if "Customers" like them operators should be making money.

Bumper Boats are considered a "Major Ride" in most parks. Operators are aware that the cost of adding a "Major Ride" can be staggering to say the least. The addition of a Bumper Boat Attraction has been found to be a conservative investment compared to other " Major Rides" when done properly. Don't rely just on statements from someone who is trying to sell you something. If you feel apprehensive with claims , ask for customer references that can verify any claims being made to you.

Styles Of Boats
An operator that is evaluating the addition of Bumper Boats as an attraction is best served by being informed or advised that there is more involved than just selecting boats. Sure, the selection of boats is IMPORTANT but, so is securing accurate information pertaining to design, specifications and costs for the Bumper Boat Pool.

From a manufacturers standpoint, "Success" will come about by offering a "Good Product" and "Better Service." It is IMPERATIVE that "Outstanding Service" goes along with the sale of a product. Keep in mind... an operator should spend as much time researching and evaluating the "Service and Performance" record of the company He or She will be dealing with, as the product being considered.

TYPICAL QUESTIONS OFTEN ASKED BY PROSPECTIVE OPERATORS... AND THEIR ANSWERS

HOW BIG OF A POOL DO I NEED?

"Rule of thumb", 300 sq. ft. per boat is required If a pool is "too big" or "too small" it takes away from the excitement.

HOW DEEP OF A POOL DO I NEED?

A safe and functional pool should be 36" deep. It is not that the boats have 36" Draft, but a quantity of boats and riders can make sizable waves.

HOW MUCH POOL SIDE WALL SHOULD BE ABOVE THE WATER?

Proper dimensioning is important. A pool should have 12" (minimum) of side wall above the water.
