The nominal size of a boat's tube is 72". It is advisable that the hand rail be placed 7' to 7'6" apart for docking the boats. DO I NEED TO FILTER THE WATER? Simply stated , it is a must for successful operation to offer patrons a clean, safe water environment for their bumper boating pleasure. SHOULD I HAVE FOUNTAINS OR WATERFALLS IN THE POOL? Fountains and waterfalls can compliment a properly laid out pool. It is essential that controlled access is designed into the total scheme. Problems will be evident if the boats are allowed to access the fountains or waterfalls. WHAT TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION IS NECESSARY FOR A POOL? Construction of Bumper Boat pools usually fall into one of (3) categories. 1) Wooden structure with a Heavy-Duty Vinyl-Liner. 2) Fiberglass side walls, with a concrete floor. 3) Complete concrete construction. |

| WHO SHOULD DESIGN MY POOL?
A knowledgeable and qualified pool contractor. More important is a contractor that is familiar with Bumper Boat pools. There is a difference between a swimming pool and a Bumper Boat Pool. HOW MANY BUMPER BOATS SHOULD I HAVE? (10) to (12) boats seems to have become the typical average. It takes the same amount of labor to operate (8) as is it does for (10) or (12) boats. HOW LONG OF A RIDE DO I GIVE? Normal ride length is 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Boats can be cycled for (12) rides per hour. |
